Dear Familia,
The holidays have been really slow for tracting and
appointments, but New Years was pretty exciting. We went to Buffalo Wild
Wings that afternoon with Elder Munday. Partly because he is being
transferred and partly because his favorite Tottenham Spurs had a match.
He is from England and enjoys his soccer. But anyway their wings are not
as good as Wingshaks. I had their hottest sauce that the waitress tried
to warn me against. I ate them just fine.
But we had to be in by six that night so we just went in and
played Jenga in the hallway with the sisters (Hna. Moncur is the white one and
Hna. Alvarado is the Mexican) then snuck onto the roof through the fire escape
(shhh, don't tell) and threw our gingerbread house down six floors to the
garbage.
Then the sisters went back to their room and we played puke
or pee. We each probably drank about ten of those little dixie cups of Martinellis
then about a gallon of water. I won. Elder Trainor (skinny blonde)
did not even try, Elder Graham (the tall one) got too sick and gave up.
Elder Sterling (process of elimination) forced himself to puke out the window
just to get rid of all the excess liquid.
But ya it got pretty noisy at midnight. They did fireworks in
grand army plaza which is at the northwest corner of Prospect Park, so we could
hear those. Then today we went to Grimaldi's for lunch. It was
really good but I wouldn't do it again just because of the wait. But we
have a long line for the computers today so I have got to wrap this up.
Love you guys,
Elder Pearce
