Alright so I don’t think I have a ton of time left on the
computer after going through all of the class stuff and getting the information
to President Calderwood and all so this one might be short again (I’ve been helping Sean register for classes
for Fall Semester at BYU).
So on Wednesday we had a DL/ZL training from Presidents and
the AP’s, which was really good. Helped
me to learn a lot about what I needed to do better to help my district
progress. After that not too much
exciting happened until Saturday, on which we started out teaching a lesson to
a woman named Eloina who is really cool.
Her boyfriend was also there and as we were about to teach the
restoration he asked us about how he could find out which of all the many
churches out there is right. Well just
sit back and enjoy the ride my friend.
Then later that day we made a bunch of lemonade and went out
into the park to advertise English class and had some good success there. Free cold lemonade on a day that’s 90 plus
and super humid attracts some attention.
We had to end it a little early to go to a member baptism at the
church. I got to see a few of the
Midwood members so that was cool.
Then on Sunday, one of our English class students came to
church which was cool. None of our
investigators though which was a bit disappointing. That night we met with some less actives and
with an unbaptized member so it was a pretty good night.
Today we were going to go to the beach but it has been raining
pretty hard all morning so that got cancelled.
Our district might go do the Blazin Challenge at Buffalo Wild Wings
though which will be fun.
Love you
all,
Elder Pearce
